This is from the rocket festival. The rockets are launched to awaken the rain gods. Animism gets mixed in with Buddhism in the rural areas. This was the final rocket launched that day. Please pray that the Thai would know that it is Yahweh who provides the rain, not nameless, unknowable rain gods.
Amanda Playing “Simon Says” With the Students
One of the games we played with the students is “Simon Says.” We’d use it to help with recognizing and pronouncing English words.
Chris Teaching with Music
Both Chris & Dora are trained musicians, so they enjoy using music to teach the kids English! In this video, Chris is using a fun song to teach the students the months of the year.
